Insight and The Bowling Green Humane Society happily present:
On September 9, 2008 Insight and The Bowling Green Humane Society happily present the 7th Annual Adoptathon. This event will be held on the premises of Insight Communications and will be telecast on Insight’s Cable Channel 5. The purpose of this year’s event will be to adopt as many animals as possible, raise public awareness of the importance of spay/neuter, and to raise funds for the The Hildreth Adoption Center.
This center is operated solely on grants and donations. Fortunately we have had a number of successful fundraisers and unsolicited donations that are making this project possible, however it will take much more to retire the construction debt and operate this center.
This Hildreth Adoption Center is operated separately but in conjunction with the BGWC Animal Shelter. As space becomes available adoptable animals are taken from the current shelter, after health and behavior screenings, shots being brought up to date, and spay/neuter procedures being preformed, and brought into the Hildreth Adoption Center to await their “forever, loving homes”!
The “Adoptathon” will take place at Insight Communications and will be aired on Insight’s Cable Channel 5 on Tuesday, September 9th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
